Kalithea beach
Kallithea beach is within walking distance from the city of Rhodes and is one of the must visits on the island. In this particular area many movies have been filmed. The famous Hot Springs of Kallithea are here but are not in use. The area attracts both locals and tourists because of the idyllic environment. The turquoise waters are surrounded by pine trees, palm trees and small successive beaches. Kallithea beach attracts many visitors because of the enjoyable dishes of restaurants, the charm of small bays and creeks carved in rocks, and green clear water are approached in the summer by tourist boats on a daily basis. Each of those bays has sunbeds and its own small restaurant, and the beach is known by the name of the restaurant. In the area there are four points-bays namely the beaches Oasis, Nikolas, Tassos, Kokkina. Access to it by bus is easy and frequent.
