Glifada beach

Glifada beach is one of the lesser known beaches on the northwest side of Rhodes. To reach the beach the visitor must follow the signs when leaving the village Monolithos owith a direction towards Rhodes. The beach is immediately after Sianna village.The beach is surrounded by pine trees which give a beautiful deep green  to the seawater. The water, though, is usually covered with seaweed washed up on the shore by strong winds on entering the visitor finds it difficult to swim due to sharp rocks and pebbles. No facilities are provided on the beach except for two small taverns. Please note that mobile signal in this particular area is nonexistent.
