Lindos beaches

Lindos main beach

On one side of Lindos cliff is the Great Yialos, the main beach of Lindos with a well organized cosmopolitan beach. Visitors will experience the wonderful sensation of swimming in clear waters, marvelling over them the whitewashed village and castle, which dominate the hill. The beach is surrounded by restaurants serving fresh seafood, cafés and canteens.

Saint Paul’s beach

A dreamlike area directly at the back of Lindos, is Saint Paul beach, which has clear waters, rocks, and two small beaches. In the small enclosed harbour of St. Paul there are facilities such as umbrellas, deckchairs and a quaint restaurant by the sea. The beach although small, it is crowded with people during the summer months. At one end of the bay, the small chapel of Saint Paul recalls the visit of Apostle Paul to Lindos. This beautiful landscape has enchanted many lovers who choose this place to celebrate their wedding every year.
