Pefkos beach (Lee & Plakia beach)
Pefkos village is situated 56 km from the city of Rhodes, and very close to Lindos, and this is the reason you will see in the area many summer houses and villas belonging to the residents of Lindos.It is a quiet resort town with small hotels and inns. On the streets at the back side of the beach you will find several mini markets, coffee shops and restaurants. At Pefkos the visitor will come to one of the well organised beaches, the Lee beach, which is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas and a shower. The sea is shallow with clear, calm waters and golden soft sand. However, in the water there are some stones. This beach is the ideal choice for families.
Nearby the visitor will encounter the Plakia beach. Visitors have the opportunity to discover pebbles among pine trees and in the turquoise waters of the sea. At the end of the beach there are caves with shallow waters, suitable for swimming and exploring. The beach is well organised and has a canteen. The Quiet Creek is ideal for an enjoyable walk at sunset, where the colours of the sky and the sea interchange as if a painting painted by nature.
