Seven springs

Rhodes has a small, hidden paradise  revealed only to nature lovers. This is none other than the Seven Springs, located within nineteen kilometres southeast of the city of Rhodes and very close to Archangelos. It is found in a beautiful environment with many pine trees and plane trees which reveal the magnificence of nature.In the area there is a lake of the seven springs gushing cool running water; inexhaustible streams across the width of the stream, bridges, a duck pond and the famous Rhodian gizani (fish species). Peacocks beautify the landscape opening their colourful wings to welcome their guests.The temperature in the area is low. Their water is channelled into the valley and irrigate the fields of Kolymbia. Finally, it is worth visiting the tunnel that was built for the old Italian aqueduct that leads to an artificial lake with cold water.
