Archeological museum
The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes is located in the medieval city, at the end of the Knights street, housed in the building of the grand hospital of the Knights. Construction of the building started in 1440 and it lasted for fifty (50) years. It operates as Archaeological Museum from 1914 and its rooms house finds from excavations in Rhodes and in other islands of the Dodecanese. It is easily accessible both on foot and by bus as it is located near the main coastal road. Nearby is the taxi station, the National bank, restaurants, bars, and tourist shops.
