Faliraki beach
Faliraki beach is well known to all guests to Rhodes and it stretches on the eastern side of the island 12km from the city of Rhodes. This long sandy beach covers four thousand kilometres and it is one of the most favoured beaches of the island providing many facilities. It starts from the point where Kallithea beach ends and continues as far as the huge hotel units of the area reaching the residential area. The beach offers many choices of sea sports, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, fast food and of course delicious freshly made ice-cream. The area constitutes attraction of many tourists every year enabling exploration and swimming in small nearby picturesque bays.

In Faliraki the visitor has the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach, Kathara. There are many trees along the beach, restaurants and fish taverns. It provides facilities such as deck chairs and umbrellas. It covers an area of 400m and its width is 40m; it can easily be accessed on foot from the centre of Faliraki, or by bus, even by the small tourist train. The beach does not provide any sport activities; it is a peaceful area abounding in natural beauty which makes it look like a faraway exotic paradise, only a stone throw away from crowded Faliraki.
