Haraki main beach
Haraki one of the most attractive tourist destinations just 38 km from the city centre of Rhodes and combines tourist attractions with the calmness of the Zagorochori (village beyond the mountain) of the old days. Haraki is situated in the beginning of a beautiful beach, 5 km long. The landscape combines the scenic bay, with traditional buildings, hill with the medieval castle Faraklou and neighbouring lacy beaches of dreamy waters, rocks and caves, such as the “Red Sand” and Saint Agathe where one can enjoy the sea with shallow waters, the sun, fine sand, and water sports. Along the road the visitor will find rooms to let grocery stores, and coffee shops.
Agathi beach
The wonderful sandy beach of Agathi is on the east side of the island 38km from the city of Rhodes and 10 km from Lindos. In order to reach this beach visitors have to drive on a gravel road, but the result will be rewarding! The turquoise waters combined with the golden sand and rocky slopes surrounding it make it an irresistible destination for swimming. The beach has many facilities as umbrellas, sun beds, toilets, changing rooms and canteens for coffee and quick snacks. Near the beach is the village of Haraki.
