Kalathos beach
In a distance of 45 km from the city of Rhodes in the southeastern part of the island, just 6 km from Lindos, lies the beautiful beach of Kalathos. This is a wind sheltered, sandy beach with small pebbles, stretching over an area of four kilometres. Kalathos has crystal clear, shallow waters ideal for children. Access to the beach and parking are very easy. Being a very long beach helps to avoid crowding of bathers even in the peak summer months. Visitors can choose to sit in the part of the beach where facilities are provided, including the beach bar Summer Love. There are chairs, umbrellas, taverns, water sports and a canteen. Some parts of the beach are also available free for everyone to sit and enjoy the sea and the sun.
