Kamiros beach
About an hour from the centre of the city of Rhodes on the western side of the island is the beach at Skala Kameirou. The area is famous for its natural beauty and for its fresh fish caught daily by fishing boats that dock in the harbour. Also from its small harbour ferries leave on a daily basis for the neighboring island of Halki. The accommodation facilities in the area are limited. Kamiros beach is situated in a broader beautiful green environment, offering clear waters and peaceful atmosphere. It is worth noting that the beach has neither rich sand nor proper facilities.
